Edge profile is an important detail of quartz countertops. It not only affects the style of the kitchen and space, but has a big effect on function of cleaning, safety and durability.
There’re various types of edge profiles for quart countertops. The most popular and simple ones include Eased Edge (Straight Edge) and Quarter Round Edge.
Eased Edge:
The edge is beveled at the top and bottom, often referred to as Eased or Straight profile.
Available Thickness: 2cm 3cm
Quarter Rouned Edge:
Rounded on the top edge. Radius is usually between 5~10mm(a quarter of the thickness).
Available Thickness: 2cm 3cm
The premium edges include Half Beveled Edge, Half Bullnose Edge, and Full Bullnose Edge.
Half Bevel Edge:
This angled edge is usually a 45° or 60° angle with the half depth.

Half Bullnose Edge:
Rounded on the top edge. Radius is usually half of the thickness.

Full Bullnose Edge:
Full rounded at the top and bottom of the edge.

The stylish and classic edges include: Ogee, Dupon, Cove Dopon, Double Bullnose.
Ogee Edge:
Ogee edge has a concave radius. It’s a classic and elegant edge.

Dupont Edge:
This edge has a convex radius. It’s a simple and classic edge.
Available Thickness: 3cm
Cove Dupont Edge:
Cove Dupont Edge has a concave and a convex radius.
Available Thickness: 3cm
Double Bullnose Edge:
Cove Dupont Edge has two convex radius.
Available Thickness: 3cm
Laminated edges include: Mitered Edge, Laminated Bullnose Edge and Ogee Straight Edge.
Mitered Edge:
The Mitered edge is laminated with 45° joints, to give a countertop with less weight the appearance of a much heavier one

Laminated Bullnose Edge:
This edge is a full bullnose edge of two laminated pieces.

Ogee Straight Edge:
